 China is located on the Eastern side of Asia. China has 14 neighboring countries which consist of Japan, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and Nepal just to mention a few. (Travel China Guide) The Pacific Ocean is on the East side of China. The Yellow Sea and South China Sea are bordering the Eastern side of China as well. China is approximately 22,117 kilometers or 13,743 miles long and since it's so big, you can pretty much say that it has a diverse terrain. (The China Outpost) China consists of rivers and lakes, mountains, desert and plateau. Some noteworthy locations are the Yangtze River which is located by the Qinghai Province and Tibet. The Yangtze has broken a world record as being the third longest river on the planet. The Yellow Mountains are also known for their unique beauty, seas of clouds, rare shaped rocks, and hot springs. The Li River, West Lake, the Himalaya mountains, the Arabian and Gobi desert are some of the regions that make up the physical geography of China.

  1. It's kind of funny because everything in this post is just about to opposite of Costa Rica. China has almost every different type of terrain you can think of while Costa Rica is mostly plains while one mountain range that goes down the middle of it. China also has an abundance of lakes and rivers where Costa Rica does not.
