China has a diverse climate range. China has a cold, mid temperature, warm, subtropical, tropical, and plateau climate region. Precipitation happens every year especially over the summer months in April and May. This time of year is when monsoons happen which cause rainfall. China ranges from the Siberian and Gobi desert to a large mountain range and grasslands. Northeast China is dry with warm summers and cold winters. Western China has the severe desert conditions. North-Central China has hot summers and cold winters. There are some dust storms over the spring equinox. South-Central China has humid and hot summers while the winter months are dry. China does not have a uniform climate. The weather tends to change depending on the region and latitude that you are found in.

The annual range of temperature in the capital of China, which is Beijing, is 12 degrees Celsius or 53 degrees Fahrenheit. Beijing has about 22.7 inches of rainfall every year. That is about 1.9 inches of rain per month. In the city of Hailar has an annual range of temperature of -1.6 degrees Celsius or 29.1 degrees Fahrenheit. Hailar has about 13.8 inches of rain every year.

Honolulu, HI has an average high temperature of 84.5 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 70.7 degrees Fahrenheit and an average of 77.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The average annual precipitation in Honolulu is about 17.13 inches. Honolulu is hotter than Beijing by 24.6 degrees Fahrenheit. But, Beijing has 5.57 more inches of precipitation than Honolulu. Beijing experiences large seasonality. Beijing has 4 major seasons which are windy springs, hot summers, cooling autumn, and cold winters.
